WinBiller is a timing application designed to track completed tasks by employee, client and/or project. Designed for a multi-user Windowsä environment, WinBiller features ActiveX components including a Super Smart Timer/Entry component that can be run conventionally within the application, or separately within a web page!

This module is capable of connecting to a database on a Desktop or LAN or, it can act as a thin client to a server-side component using the Internet. No more importing and exporting data - just get on-line. And, you don't have to stay on line to use the Timer mode. Just start the timer, and close it, and disconnect. When you re-launch the Timer, as in previous versions, if an event was being timed when the component is terminated, you can opt to continue as if the Timer had been running all along.

Like the Timer/Entry component, several reports will be available globally. These global tracking and reporting capabilites allow a mobile/remote work force access to a feature rich application with centralized data, accessible from anywhere in the world – and beyond...

These global features, and the option to use Microsoft SQL Server for the WinBiller data platform are available in the Enterprise edition.

All reports and invoices are created in an HTML format, whether running in the 'Internet mode' or locally, and you can even opt to view them in your default browser!

While version 3.x is a complete and total re-write of the application, with streamlined code and the latest data access methodologies, nearly all of the existing features were retained. Any that were not were replaced with something even better The application looks and feels very similar to its predecessor, albeit a MDI interface in lieu of a tabbed one. Even this change was performance driven, as all data need not be loaded every time the application runs.
